It’s official. Nicklas Bendtner is now an actual Lord
A Danish magazine has decided to make Nicklas Bendtner’s nickname not just an affectionate title from fans. The magazine, SE Og HØR, bought some land in Scotland for the Wolfsburg forward, which in turn grants Bendtner the official title of ‘Lord.’ Bendtner is now the proud owner of 1 sq. ft. of land in Glencoe Wood, part of a nature reserve.
The Danish land holder is aware of his new-found title.
“We have seen it, and Nicklas think it’s a fun gimmick. We have asked to be sent a receipt and we are pleased that it supports a nature conservation area,” said Elisa Lykke, Bendtner’s PR agent.
The only problem with this is that fans will still have to call him Lord Bendtner even when he’s playing badly.
